Last November, my husband, in-laws and I went to Guanajuato City and San Miguel de Allende to celebrate Day of the Dead. I had a fantastic time and loved every minute of our trip. We stayed at Hotel La Abadia Tradicional, and spent most of our time in Guanajuato City, but we did venture off to San Miguel for a day as well. The cities are only about an hour and a half drive away from each other, so it is easy to drive to one of them if you are staying in the other. Here’s my favourite photos that will make you want to visit Guanajuato and San Miguel de Allende.

There seem to be flowers everywhere both in San Miguel de Allende and Guanajuato City.
