Hello! My name is April and I am the author of the Just Leaving Footprints blog. I currently support six brands and earn a small income from advertising for them. This helps me keep the JLF blog running since I have to pay each year for my domain name and other plugins. Please keep in mind that the brands supported here are brands that I fully believe in and use since their products are all either perfect for travel, good for the environment, or outstanding for bloggers. My current affiliates are with Wellness Bottles, Sand Cloud, Woodlike, Bluehost, Amazon and Young Living.

Wellness Bottles

Wellness Bottles are large stainless steel water bottles with bamboo lids that contain absolutely zero plastic parts. They are super eco-friendly because using them means you don’t need to use plastic disposable bottles that are made by burning fossil fuels and that end up clogging up landfills. The best part of Wellness Bottles is that 20% of all profits go towards an organization called Charity: Water. Did you know that unclean water kills more people than all kinds of violence (including war) every year? This organization builds wells in areas of the world that desperately need clean water. This means you help save the environment while providing clean drinking water to those who need it most.

Sand Cloud

As most Earth lovers know, one of the things that suffers most due to pollution is the ocean and the marine life in it. Sand Cloud is a company that sells beautiful beach towels, tee shirts and accessories. All of these are made out of high quality, eco-friendly materials like 100% Turkish cotton. Plus 10% of profits from every purchase go to support marine life. The organizations that Sand Cloud supports are The Marine Conservation Institute, The Surfrider Foundation, The Pacific Marine Mammal Centre, The San Diego Coastkeeper, and The Hawaii Wildlife Fund.

Woodlike Bathing Suits

One of my favorite things about traveling is getting to swim in oceans, rivers and lakes all over the world! Summer is truly my favorite season to travel, but I also love traveling to warmer places in the winter too. What I don’t like is fast fashion and how polluting polyester (essentially plastic fabric that makes most swimsuits) is for the planet. That’s why I love Woodlike bathing suits. They’re not only stylish and comfortable, but they’re made out of 100% recycled fishing nets and other recycled polyesters.

To purchase a Woodlike bathing suit click here and be sure to use code AprilVL10 for 10% off! By using this code you will save money off your new suit and I’ll receive a small commission at no extra cost to you!

Banana Backpacks

Girl with Backpack and Organic Cotton Shirt

Banana Backpacks are a company that creates incredibly durable travel backpacks and organic cotton tee shirts. Their backpacks are designed to be the only travel backpack you’ll ever need – they’re really that durable. Plus a portion of proceeds goes to support kids so they can stay in school in Cambodia. Their tee shirts have a portion of proceeds going to give people in Cambodia access to clean water. I don’t have a Banana Backpack yet but it’s on my wishlist. I got involved with selling these items because the company’s co-founder, Anika, reached out to me actually wrote a post all about the backpacks here on the blog!

To buy either a backpack or tee shirt from Banana Backpacks click here! By purchasing through this link, I will receive a small commission at no extra cost to you!

Amazon

You may see various banner ads like the one above promoting outdoor gear for travel, or cameras for photography from Amazon. I get a small commission anytime you buy a product that’s being advertised through Amazon on my website. Additionally sometimes I write blog posts such as gift guides for travelers or will mention products that I use and love that you can also buy through my Amazon links.
